
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The dominance of the Milwaukee Brewers starting pitchinf finally hit a bump on Friday as the Brewers dropped a 6-1 game with Pittsburgh at American Family Field.
Adrian Houser gave up three runs over 4 1/3 innings. It marked the end of eight straight games in which a starter went at least five innings while allowing no more than one run.
JT Brubaker shut down the Brewers offense as well allowing one run, an RBI from Tyrone Taylor in the 5th inning.
Christian Yelich missed his fourth straight game with a sore back but did take batting practice on Friday.
The two teams square off again tonight with Brett Anderson facing Trevor Cahill…pre game at 5:35 on WSAU.
