ANTIGO, WI (WSAU) — Bond has been set for a man accused of harboring a one pot meth lab in his garage.
George Hawley, 39, of White Lake was in Langlade County Circuit Court on Monday afternoon for an initial appearance. Hawley is facing 11 charges related to drug use and methamphetamine manufacturing, including first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
Hawley is accused of harboring a meth lab in his garage in Wolf River. In March, local officials executed a search warrant that turned up more than 60 meth production containers along with needles, chemicals, medication, fuel, and other meth production elements.

According to court documents, Hawley would purchase over the counter Sudafed, also know as pseudoephedrine to make the product. He began purchasing it in January of 2018 until January of 2021. Over those 37 months, Hawley is said to have purchased pseudoephedrine 65 times.
Hawley’s bond has been set at $100,000 cash. He will return to court on May 5th to resume his initial appearance.
