CHICAGO, Illinois (WSAU) — The game was over Friday almost before it began. The Chicago Cubs scored 10 runs in the first two innings and cruised to a 15-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Wrigley Field.
Brett Anderson left with an injury in the first inning after giving up 3 runs. Josh Lindblom came in and allowed 8 runs on 9 hits in 3 2/3 innings.
Kolton Wong returned from the injured list and went 3-4 with a homer for Milwaukee. Billy McKinney also homered for the Brewers.
The two teams play again this afternoon, pre game show at 12:45 on WSAU.
