WEYAUWEGA, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – One person is dead, another is seriously injured, after a roll-over crash in Waupaca County.
The Sheriff’s Department says it happened around 2:30am Wednesday in the Town of Weyauwega.
The vehicle was traveling northbound on CTH U near Railroad Grade Road. It went into a ditch, came back onto the road and then rolled several times. There was only one vehicle involved in the crash. The cause is not known.
A press release said the driver was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene. It also said a passenger in the vehicle and transported to Theda Care Medical Center in Neenah with life-threatening injuries.
No names have been released.
