MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Applications are open for a state position in Wood County.
Friday morning Governor Evers sent out a press release seeking applications for a coroner appointment in Wood County. The appointment will fill a vacancy made by the resignation of Scott Brehm on May 15th. The term for the new coroner would go through January 1st of 2023.
Applications for the position will be taken until 5 p.m. on May 20th. Those interested should submit an application online with a cover letter detailing professional and academic qualifications, civic activities, and community involvement. The online application can be found at the Governor’s website, www.evers.wi.gov.
