MIAMI, FL (WSAU) — The Brewers got a pair of three-hit performances from Avisail Garcia and Kolton Wong to help secure a 6-2 win over Miami Saturday evening at LoanDepot Park.
Garcia’s day included a two-run home run in the 5th inning along with a pair of singles. Wong’s stat line included a double and a run scored as well.
Pitcher Adrian Houser even got in on the action at the plate with a 4th inning home run as part of a 1-3 day. On the mound, he recorded six innings and allowed five hits and two earned runs. He also earned 10 strikeouts while issuing no walks.
J.P. Feyereisen, Devin Williams, and Josh Hader each got one inning to finish off the game. The trio combined to allow just one hit and secured eight of the nine outs that were required of them via strikeout.
