WHITEWATER, WI (WSAU) — After getting blown out 15-0 by UW-Stout in their WIAC Tournament opener, the UWSP baseball team bounced back with a 12-8 win over UW-La Crosse in an elimination game on Friday.
Aaron Simmons drove in five runs in the win. The Pointers also got home runs from Bradley Comer, Lucas Luedtke and Quin Henwood.
The Pointers will face Stout again today at noon. The Blue Devils dropped their 2nd game with Whitewater 10-0 on Friday.
