GREEN BAY, WI (MetroSource-WSAU) — Aaron Rodgers isn’t upset with Jordan Love, but the club’s philosophy he believes has gone awry.
Speaking with Kenny Mayne on E-S-P-N’s Sportscenter Monday night, the Green Bay Packers quarterback says it wasn’t that general manager Brian Gutekunst traded up or even drafted Love, it’s how he handled it.
“I Love Jordan, he’s a great kid,” Rodgers told Mayne on his final show with ESPN. He explained it’s about the philosophy that it’s about the people that make the organization great, not vice versa.
Rodgers was not at O-T-As on Monday. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, it was not a surprise that the Green Bay Packers quarterback didn’t show.
It was first reported on April 29th that he was seeking a divorce from the only team he played with in the N-F-L.
He’s not required to attend any minicamps until June 15th.
