WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — After closing or running a limited schedule for 2020, many outdoor aquatic centers and swimming pools are set to open this week.
Merrill’s Bierman Family Aquatic Center opened last Friday with plans to be open daily from noon to 7 PM.
Others that are opening this week include:
- Wausau- All three outdoor pools and the Marathon Park splash pad will open June 4th.
- Weston- Outdoor aquatic center opens June 5th.
- Rothschild/Schofield- Outdoor aquatic center opens June 5th.
- Wisconsin Rapids- Splash pads opened last weekend. Outdoor aquatic center opens June 7th
- Marshfield- Finishing touches are being applied to the Vandhey Waters Aquatic Center, opening date has not been set.
- Stevens Point- Opening date has not been set
