
Adam Dupleasis
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The man accused of vandalizing a downtown Wausau church will head to trial.
Wednesday morning 38-year-old Adam Dupleasis was in court for a preliminary hearing. Dupleasis is facing several charges including burglary of a building or dwelling, criminal damage to religious property, and battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor, or law enforcement officer. Dupleasis is accused of breaking into the First Universalist Unitarian Church in May.

At the hearing, Dupleasis was bound over for arraignment and trial by the court. Dupleasis then pleaded not guilty to the 13 charges he is currently facing.
Dupleasis is currently being held on a $5,000 cash bond and returns to court on June 18th.
