MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Federal charges have now been filed against four people following the death of a woman from a heroin overdose and subsequent efforts to cover it up.
Court filings indicate that Emerson Reed and Keith Wilber Jr both face a count of concealment of a felony and arson. Timothy Snider has been charged with the distribution of a controlled substance, and Kayla Childs has been charged with the concealment of a felony.
Snider also faces a count of obstruction of justice.
Reed and Snider are said to have driven the vehicle into the remote area. Wilber and Childs met them there to douse the vehicle with an accelerant then light the match.
Investigators used cell phone, Facebook, and GPS data to reconstruct the timeline and lead them to Reed, Snider, Wilber, and Childs.
The burned vehicle and Greenspon’s remains were found on August 19th, 2020.
