MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers used four home runs to top the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-4 on Thursday night at American Family Field.
The long balls included a three-run shot from Christian Yelich in the 3rd inning. It was his first home run at home since Sept 6th 2019.
Luis Urias, Jackie Bradley Jr and Avisail Garcia also went deep for the Crew. Urias was in the game as an injury replacement for Kolten Wong who left with oblique discomfort. Wong had been on the IL earlier in the year with an oblique problem.
Brent Suter got the win in relief of Brett Anderson. Josh Hader picked up his 13th save with a scoreless 9th inning.
The two teams play again tonight….Freddy Peralta on the mound for Milwaukee…pre game show at 6:35 on WSAU.
