WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Wausau Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a convicted sex offender who removed his GPS tracking monitor.
John W Dick, 39, removed the device Wednesday night and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. He’s been living in transitional housing near the Marathon County courthouse since the end of his sentence last December for second-degree sexual assault of a child. He was originally released from prison in 2017 but was re-arrested for violating the terms of his extended supervision shortly after then.
