MADISON, WI (WSAU) — Senator Ron Johnson’s YouTube account is suspended over his support of controversial therapeutic treatments for COVID-19.
The Big Tech video platform suspended his account yesterday for the next seven days. YouTube remove the Senator’s video of a speech he made in Milwaukee earlier this month in which he touts the use of therapeutic drugs such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin in early stages of COVID-19 diagnosis to help mitigate the impact of the disease.
YouTube claims the Senator’s statements are a violation of the site’s “medical misinformation policies.”
