MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — State Patrol officials have released the names of those involved in a chain-reaction crash Sunday afternoon.
Darlene Rosenbecker, 99, and 88-year-old Ralph Rosenbecker were killed in the crash after the vehicle they were riding in was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Garrett Koehl.
The Rosenbecker’s were riding in the backseat of that vehicle. Two front-seat passengers were uninjured.
Two passengers in a third vehicle, which was rear-ended as a consequence of the first crash, were also uninjured.
The crash closed down a portion of US 51 southbound for a couple of hours on Sunday afternoon. No further information has been released.
