STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Authorities found almost 200 grams of drugs Thursday morning in Stevens Point.
According to a release from Stevens Point Police Lieutenant Dana Williams a search warrant was executed at 5 a.m. on Thursday, June 17th at 3257 Church St. in Stevens Point. During the search of the house, authorities found 180 grams of drugs including fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine. The street value of the drugs is approximated at $30,000.
The Department is requesting charges to the Portage County District Attorney against 32-year-old Brandon Smith. The charges being recommended are possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, and possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. An investigation into the case is ongoing.
