MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — An unidentified man was arrested on suspicion of an OWI Wednesday in the parking lot of the Marshfield Wal-Mart.
A bystander reported the incident late Wednesday evening, saying they had seen the man crash the vehicle then get out and run into the store. Officers were able to locate him and discovered he was on probation for other charges.
An Act 79 search was conducted which turned up various unnamed items, according to a police report released to the media. Officials also noticed signs of impairment and arrested him at the scene.
The man did consent to a blood draw and was then taken to the Marathon County jail where he awaits charges through the DA’s office. No further information has been released at this time.
