NEW YORK, NY (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers game with the New York Mets was rained out on Tuesday night.
The two teams will play a split doubleheader today. Corbin Burnes will face Jacob DeGrom in the early game and Brett Anderson will pitch for Milwaukee in the second contest.
Pre game show for game one will be at 12:35 with the first pitch scheduled at 1:10. The second pre game show will air at 5:35 with first pitch at 6:10.
Both games will be seven innings and can be heard on WSAU.
The Brewers also swung a trade on Tuesday. Milwaukee acquired first baseman Rowdy Tellez from Toronto in exchange for pitchers Trevor Richards and Bowden Francis.
The left handed Tellez has played in 219 major league games with 105 starts at first base, all with the Blue Jays. He’s a career .241 hitter with 37 homers and 99 RBIs over the last four seasons.
