WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Those who haven’t received their COVID-19 vaccine can do so this week while they browse the exhibits at the Wisconsin Valley Fair in Wausau.
The County Health Department has announced that they will be offering the Pfizer and single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccines in the northeast wing of the Expo Building each day between noon and 8 PM.
The clinic will operate on a walk-up basis with no appointments required.
The Pfizer vaccine is a two-dose series approved for those ages 12 and up, meaning those who get their first shot during the week of the fair will need to line up their second shot in late August or early September. The Johnson and Johnson vaccine is a single-dose shot but is only approved for use in those over the age of 18.
The clinic will run through the end of the fair on August 8th.
