WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A local fair wraps up after a busy week.
While the weather may have kept some people away from the Wisconsin Valley Fair on Saturday, many enjoyed the last day of festivities at Marathon Park on Sunday. But for some, the last day of the fair was their first day of the fair. Taylor Poulson tells WAOW-TV it was his first time visiting the Wisconsin Valley Fair.
“This is my first time I’ve ever been here. I’ve been to multiple fairs all over Wisconsin and all over the country but it’s a good one. I like it, I enjoy it, a lot of good games, and rides, and you know activities.”
With the Wisconsin Valley Fair over, eyes now turn to the Wisconsin State Fair which began in Milwaukee County on Thursday and runs until August 15th.
