GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers made a couple of roster moves on Monday to get down to the 80 man limit for this week.
They placed veteran defensive back Will Redmond on injured reserve with a foot injury and released offensive lineman Josh Avery.
Matt LaFleur said the loss of Redmond will be felt on special teams calling him the most consistent player on that unit for the last two years. Redmond also played 342 snaps on defense as an extra corner/safety.
The final cut down of players to a roster of 53 must be done by next Tuesday.
