GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers placed wide receiver Devin Funchess on the injured list Wednesday.
His season is over unless he and the Packers agree on an injury settlement. He will be a free agent next season.
After having success in the Packers first preseason game (six catches for 70 yards) Funchess injured his hamstring in a practice last week and hasn’t played since.
He opted out last season because of COVID19 and broke his collar bone in Sept of 2019 when he played for the Colts.
The Packers also cut WR Chris Blair and signed DL Abdullah Anderson and CB Stephen Denmark.
