WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The annual Wausau Labor Day Parade will be held on Monday starting at 4pm on Wausau’s West Side.
Lineup for the parade will begin at 3pm at the corner of West Wausau Ave and 3rd Ave. The parade will proceed down 3rd Ave and end at the Wausau Labor Temple.
The Grand Marshall of the parade is Wausau mayor Katie Rosenberg and Tom Kilian will receive the Citizen of the Year award from the Marathon County Central Labor Council. The Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1168 will be named “Organization of the Year”.
There will be a “Stuff the Bus” donation drive at the Labor Temple parking lot. A Wausau Metro bus will be parked and folks will be collecting school supplies to donate.
There will also be food and music at the Labor Temple throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
