MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Luis Urias smacked a solo home run to open the scoring in the first as the Brewers picked up a 4-0 win over St. Louis on Saturday.
Luke Maile added a double in the second, part of a three-run inning that provided some welcome insurance for starter Adrian Houser. He went the distance scattering three hits and striking out seven.
Houser required just 100 pitches to get through the game, 76 going for strikes.
Willy Adames fished the game 3-3 while Urias was 2-4.
The same two teams will wrap up their three-game set this afternoon. Coverage begins at 12:35 on WSAU.
