PARK FALLS, WI (WSAU) — Authorities have issued a statewide Silver Alert for a man taken from a Park Falls nursing home over the weekend.
Police say Anthony Nicely was under a protective placement order due to a medical condition. However, he was seen leaving the home in a wheelchair with Virginia Nicely shortly after 4 PM on Sunday.

The two then left in a Ram 1500 with Wisconsin plates RA4801. The vehicle is black with the word ‘BIGHORN’ on the lower left portion of the tailgate. Virginia was seen driving.
It’s unclear where they may be headed but authorities say they have ties to Eagle River, Superior, and Gidden along with Ironwood and Hersey, Michigan.
Anthony Nicely is 5 foot 8 inches tall, has brown eyes, and has a grey mustache. He was last seen wearing a gray long sleeve shirt.
Police haven’t specified if Anthony and Virginia are related.
