WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Milwaukee man was sentenced Thursday on a gun charge after he was arrested in a Marathon County traffic stop on June 21st of this year.
Deshawn Robb was stopped by the State Patrol for speeding. The trooper smelled marijuana in the car and then Robb said he had a gun under the seat. A loaded .40 caliber pistol was recovered.
The 29-year-old was sentenced to two years in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He had been convicted earlier of substantial battery in Milwaukee County. Robb will also serve 3 years of supervised release.
