GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — Green Bay Packer defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery tested positive for COVID19 this week. That’s according to a report in PackerNews.
He’s the first Packer player or coach to receive a positive test. He is vaccinated so he can return if he shows no symptoms and has two negative tests 24 hours apart.
The Packers and Matt LaFleur would not comment on the report. LaFleur only said that Montgomery would not be a practice.
There was a report earlier this week that a number of New Orleans Saints coaches had tested positive after their win over Green Bay on Sunday.
