ROSEMONT, IL (WSAU) — The Big Ten announced on Monday that the October 2nd matchup between Wisconsin and Michigan has been selected as the FOX Big Noon Saturday game of the week for October 2nd.
That means kickoff time for the game in Madison will be 11 AM with tv coverage on the FOX broadcast network. It’ll be the second week in a row that the Badgers play the 11 AM game on the network, and the third time this season.
The University of Wisconsin Athletic Department will also be honoring longtime Director of Athletics and Football Coach Barry Alvarez that day as well, who retired this summer and is now serving as a special consultant to Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren.
With Monday’s announcement, game times are now nearly set for all games through Saturday, October 16th. The Badgers will take on Illinois on October 9th with kickoff at either 2:30 or 3 PM in Champagne, and will round out non-conference play against Army West Point in Madison one week later at 7 PM.
Homecoming is set for October 30th against Iowa at 11 AM. The rest of Wisconsin’s games have kickoff times TBD.
