TOMAHAWK, WI (WSAU) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two incidents of theft that occurred between Thursday and Saturday in the Tomahawk area.
On Thursday officials from the Town of Tomahawk reported multiple street signs had been stolen including a stop sign, one truck hauling sign, two loose gravel signs, and one arrow. Additionally, some barricades were also stolen.
Some of the signs were taken from the Bridge Road and Tower Road areas.
Then on Saturday, an 80-year-old Tomahawk woman reported having a utility trailer stolen from her property in the Town of Wilson. No description of the trailer was given, but she estimated it to be valued at $1,500.

Those submitting tips can remain anonymous.
It’s unclear if the thefts were connected to the annual Tomahawk Fall Ride which took place over the weekend.
