WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Sentencing has been set for a Wausau man found guilty of assaulting a girl who had run away from a foster home.
Dennis Moua was found guilty following a short jury trial earlier this year, and on Wednesday a judge set his sentencing for October 28th.
The 31-year-old was found guilty of being a party to the crime of child enticement and 2nd-degree sexual assault of a child. Officials say the girl was assaulted numerous times at Moua’s apartment during a party with around 20 people present.
Two others are also facing charges in the case including Ger Yang who’s accused of soliciting the child for prostitution by paying the girl for sex. Jacob Allen Lon Fong also faces counts of child enticement.
Moua is being held without bond.
