ST. LOUIS, MO (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers won their 50th road game and ended the St. Louis Cardinals 17 game winning streak with a 4-0 victory on Wednesday night at Busch Stadium.
Daniel Vogelbach and Manny Pina had home runs in the game. Eduardo Escobar had an RBI as well.
Adrian Houser looked good with five scoreless innings and only three hits allowed. Brent Suter & Brad Boxberger contributed scoreless innings and Aaron Ashby pitched the final two with no hits and five Ks to complete the shutout.
The two teams finish up the series with a day game today…pre game show at 11:40 on WSAU.
