WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The man found guilty of kidnapping an ex-girlfriend then taking her into Marathon County will serve four years in prison along with extended supervision on the charges.
A judge sentenced Brian Storzer on Thursday to eight years in prison for a count of second-degree recklessly endangering safety- four years incarcerated and four years of extended supervision. He’ll also serve a pair of concurrent sentences for false imprisonment and fleeing/eluding an officer.
In addition to the prison time and extended supervision, Storzer has been ordered to have no contact with the woman unless approved by an agent. He must also participate in a psychiatric evaluation and follow-up.
Charges stem from an incident that began at the woman’s property in Langlade County and ended in Rib Mountain. Storzer forced the woman into his vehicle and tied her wrist with duct tape, then drove into Marathon County. The woman was able to get out of his vehicle at a stoplight, he then chased her down and forced her back into his truck. That’s when other drivers called the police to report the incident.
