
ST. LOUIS, MO (WSAU) — Dylan Carlson hit home runs from both sides of the plate and the St. Louis Cardinals rallied for a 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday afternoon at Busch Stadium.
Milwaukee was resting a number of starters in the game including Christian Yelich, Avi Garcia, and Kolten Wong.
Luis Urias had another home run for Milwaukee and Tyrone Taylor had three hits. Omar Narvaez and Keston Hiura had the other RBIs. It was Hiura’s first appearance since returning from the minor leagues.
Brett Anderson pitched five innings in what could be his final start as a Brewer. Miguel Sanchez took the loss in relief.
The Brewers head to Los Angeles for the final regular season weekend starting tonight….pre game show at 8:35 on WSAU.
The Brewers begin the playoffs a week from today against the Atlanta Braves in Milwaukee.
