WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — Wausau Police issued a warning on Facebook on Saturday after a driver ignored a road closed sign and wrecked a brand-new pickup.
Officers posted images of the incident to Facebook showing a brand-new Ram truck that was high centered on a pile of dirt with significant bumper damage. According to the post, the driver ignored a road-closed sign.
Photos from the scene show that the pickup was so new that it still had dealer plates on it.

Officers say it’s another reminder to plan ahead before going out to make sure you have a safe ride home, either from a friend or a taxi or ride-sharing service.
No one was injured in the incident. Officers add this was one of “several” OWI arrests over the weekend.
