WESTON, WI (WSAU) — Do you know where Weston begins and where other municipalities such as Schofield, Rothschild, or Ringle end?
If you do, you could win some passes to next year’s aquatic center season in Weston.
Village leaders have launched a 20-question quiz that asks which city, town, or village landmarks such as the D.C. Everest High School, Sconnie’s Restaurant, and the US Post Office on Normandy Street are located.
The first ten people to score a 20/20 will win a day pass to the Weston Aquatic Center. Everyone who gets all of the landmarks correct will also be entered in a drawing for a family season pass to the aquatic center.
Village leaders had cited confusion over where Weston’s municipal boundaries are located as the reason for briefly deciding to change the name of Schofield Avenue to D.C. Everest Boulevard. That decision was recently walked back after business leaders along the street pushed back on the move.
