WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A Wausau man suspected of intentionally setting fire to a Wausau house back in March will be tried n the charges next month.
A Marathon County judge set a two-day trial for James Farrar to run on November 15th and 16th. He faces one count of arson without the owner’s consent, which does carry a repeat modifier.
He’s accused of setting two mattresses on fire in two different locations in the home at 10th and Cedar. Investigators say Farrar changed his story several times when asked where he was at the time of the fire.
The home was deemed a total loss.
He’s been held on a $20,000 bond.
