SAN FRANCISCO, CA (WSAU) The Los Angeles Dodgers are advancing to a second straight NLCS. Los Angeles defeated the Giants 2-1 in San Francisco in the winner-take-all Game Five of the NLDS.
Cody Bellinger delivered a go-ahead RBI single in the top of the ninth to keep the Dodgers season alive. Kenley Jansen was the winning pitcher, with Max Scherzer picking up his first career save.
Camilo Doval took the loss for San Francisco, which exits the postseason after winning 107 games in the regular season. Darin Ruf plated the Giants lone run with a solo homer in the sixth.
The Dodgers will face the Atlanta Braves next.
The American League Championship Series begisn tonight as Boston is at Houston.
