HOUSTON, TX (WSAU) — Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa hit home runs as the Houston Astros took game 1 of the ALCS over the Boston Red Sox 5-4 on Friday night.
Altuve’s two run homer tied the game in the sixth inning and Correa’s solo blast gave the Astros the lead in the seventh.
Kike Hernandez had four hits for Boston including two home runs.
Game two of the series is this afternoon. The NLCS begins tonight.
