TOWN OF ST LAWRENCE, WI (WSAU) — A man was killed and a woman injured in a one car crash Sunday in Waupaca County.
The crash happened around 1:08 pm on Hwy K in the Town of St. Lawrence.
According to a release from the Waupaca County Sheriff’s office, the car, driven by a 38 year old female left the roadway and hit a tree. The woman was injured and transported by helicopter to the hospital in Neenah. The 71 year old male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The initial investigation shows the vehicle entered the east ditch on a curve, crossed back over the roadway and entered the west ditch before hitting the tree.
The crash remains under investigation and names are being withheld.
