BOSTON, MASS (MetroSource-WSAU) — The Boston Red Sox now lead the ALCS 2-1 after topping the Houston Astros 12-3 in Game Three at Fenway Park.
Eduardo Rodriguez earned the win after allowing three runs with seven strikeouts over six innings. Jose Urquidy was charged with the loss after allowing five earned runs in an inning-and-two-thirds.
Kyle Schwarber, Christian Arroyo, J.D. Martinez, and Rafael Devers all launched home runs for Boston. Kyle Tucker hit a three-run homer for Houston.
The Red Sox have scored 50 runs and hit 17 home runs in the past six games. They have scored 57 runs in the postseason.
Game 4 is set for tonight also at Fenway Park.
The NLCS continues tonight as well with the Braves and Dodgers playing in LA. Atlanta leads the series 2-0.
