STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The UWSP womens soccer team knocked off UW-Eau Claire 1-0 on Wednesday in Eau Claire.
Freshman Madison Culli scored her first collegiate goal on a corner kick for the win. Miranda Nieman had seven saves.
The Pointers, now 7-9, 3-2 in WIAC, will host Platteville on Saturday.
The UWSP volleyball team dropped a five set match at UW-Oshkosh on Wednesday.
Ashley Kopp had another double-double with 20 kills and 25 digs. It was her 14th double-double of the season and she leads the WIAC in kills with 373.
Grace Michalske also had a double-double with 48 assists and 12 digs.
The Pointers, now 20-6, 3-3 in WIAC, will head to Illinois for matches this weekend starting with Alma on Friday.
