MIAMI, FLA (WSAU) — The Miami Heat had no problems with the short-handed Milwaukee Bucks winning 137-95 in Miami.
The Bucks were without Brook Lopez, Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis and a couple of other players and the rest of the roster could not compensate in the Heat’s season opener.
The Heat held Giannis to 15 and Khris Middleton to 10. Grayson Allen had 14 and rookie Sandro Mamukelashvili added 12.
The Heat were led by Wisconsin native Tyler Herro who had 27 off the bench. Jimmy Butler added 21 and Bam Adebayo had 20.
Milwaukee, now 1-1, will play at San Antonio on Saturday night.
