SAN ANTONIO, TX (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks topped San Antonio on Saturday with a 121-111 win over the Spurs.
Khris Middleton led the way with 28 points and three assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 21 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists.
Both Jrue Holiday and Pat Connaughton chipped in 16 points. Grayson Allen added 10, meaning every starter hit double figures in the game.
George Hill scored 15 off the bench.
Former Creighton star Doug McDermott led the Spurs with 25 points in the loss.
The game also featured a small piece of history as Middleton passed Ray Allen on the Buck’s all-time scoring list to enter the top ten. Middleton now has 9,697 points in nine seasons with Milwaukee.
Brooke Lopez did not play as he continues to nurse a back injury. Coach Mike Budenholzer said it’s unlikely that he’ll play on Monday when the Bucks close out a three-game road trip in Indiana.
