SCHOFIELD, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Multiple departments battled a fire at a Schofield auto repair shop.
It happened at an auto repair shop on Gavitt Street around 2:30pm Monday.
Smoke could be seen coming from the building. Fire crews say they are still investigating a cause but no one was injured. There was a concern about a propane tank near the site.
Fire officials say no one was inside at the time. Neighbors reported it to dispatch.
Crews were on scene for hours as they clean up steel structures inside the building and investigate what caused the blaze.
