CUMBERLAND, GA (MetroSource-WSAU) — The Astros are forcing a Game Six of the World Series. Houston defeated the Braves 9-5 in Game Five in Cumberland.
Martin Maldonado drove in three runs for the Astros while Carlos Correa and Marwin Gonzalez each drove in a pair. Jose Urquidy picked up the win for Houston.
Adam Duvall hit a grand slam in the first inning to give the Braves an early 4-0 lead. Freddie Freeman also homered for Atlanta. A.J. Minter took the loss. The Braves have a 3-2 series lead.
Game Six in Houston on Tuesday.
