SPENCER, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Crews battled a fire in a welding shed in Spencer Monday afternoon.
Numerous departments were called to the shed near the intersection of County Road V and Krau Avenue at about 4:30, and crews were on the scene for several hours.
Later in the afternoon, an excavator was brought in to take down what was left of the shed.
A portion of County Road V was shut down while the crews worked. No one was hurt in the incident, and no animals were harmed as well. The fire remains under investigation.
