MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — A one-stop shop for Veterans on Thursday.
The Northwoods Veterans Post will be holding a Veteran’s Expo, designed to give Vets easy access to benefits in one location. Organizers say that means everything from questions about healthcare coverage to housing and tuition befits and other topics.
Groups that will be on hand include representives from the VA and other private groups. Numerous colleges and universites will also be there.
The Wisconsin National Guard COVID-19 Response Task Force will be on hand to administer Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson COVID vaccines to those who need them as well as boosters for those eligible.
All Veterans will also receive a free brat for attending the event. Hours will be 10 AM to 6 PM at the Post located at 601 Johnson Street in Merrill.
