WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — The woman convicted of killing her husband in 2006 will be sentenced on March 18th.
Cindy Schulz-Juedes, who was found guilty of first-degree intentional homicide and resisting or obstructing an officer for killing her husband last month, faces a mandatory life sentence on that date with only the possibility of parole to be discussed.
Investigators found that she killed her husband Kenneth in a scheme to collect on a life insurance policy and land that his family-owned. Prosecutors had pointed to numerous factors including a perceived lack of remorse at the time of his death, and the amount of personal debt that she had cleared.
She had claimed that five other men who were interested in the property were behind the killing.
