STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — One person was arrested in the Milwaukee area after a robbery in a Stevens Point apartment over the weekend, while a second suspect remains at large.
Officers were called to the unit in the 1200 block of NorthPoint Drive where they found that numerous electronic items and a vehicle were stolen from the residents.
Police issued a be on the lookout for the vehicle which later turned up in Washington County. Officers there attempted to stop it but the driver took off into Milwaukee where they were finally arrested.
The second suspect has yet to be located.
The name of the arrested suspect has not been released, but they are facing nearly ten felony counts including theft, burglary, intimidating a victim, and stealing a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
Police are continuing to investigate and no further information will be released.
