TOWN OF CORNING, WI (WSAU) — Sheriff’s officers in Lincoln County are asking you to be on the lookout for any neighbors who may have come into an abundance of stop signs on their property.
Multiple signs were cut off or removed from their posts in the Town of Corning on Saturday morning. Officers were first alerted to the vandalism by a resident who reported that their mailbox had been cut down, along with a nearby stop sign.
Other stolen signs were reported at the intersections of Highland Avenue and Farmingdale Road and near Highland and Midway Road.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 715-536-3726. Tips may also be uploaded to the P3 app for smartphones and tablets. Tips can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
